Windows 7 can be used free for 120 days

21 August 2009 1 views No Comment

All over the World Wide Wibble, I see articles on using Windows 7 free for 120 days. What the hell is the ruckus all about? It was the same when Windows Vista was released.

If you really wanted to try Windows 7 you could have gone with Windows 7 RC  when Microsoft was giving it away for your testing. Too bad it is not available for download now but you may get it from your tech savvy friends who might have a copy.

I am using Windows 7 RC right now and it should last me till March 2010, then it will start shutting down every two hours. By this time I would have decided if I really want Windows 7 or simply go back to Windows XP. Did I say I am pretty happy with it!

Read my short review here and here.

Anyways if you have received the final copy of Windows 7 and wanted to try out for 120days prior to purchasing you can see the links here on how to go about:

Just to let you know Windows 7 will be available to the general public from October 22nd onwards. Will you be getting it? Lets discuss.
