PC Show 2009 – update

Alright the PC Show 2009 started yesterday and seems there is no sign of recession. People are still looking for a bargain and bargain they are getting.

I myself have not been to show yet. Intending to go tomorrow evening(13/06). I will be assisting my cousin to choose a Desktop PC with a budget of SGD1000. There are many available from what I see online and hopefully I can get a good deal.

As for myself, I have an eye on the Acer Aspire Timeline series. I intent not to go beyond SGD1600.
I am actually looking for a laptop below 2K and somewhere same spec as the Timeline. I have not noticed any other notebook offering at such price. Dont tell me to get a netbook. I am looking for something that can do better work that a netbook and atleast a 13-inch screen.
