Have you ever wondered if your digital backup would last long enough? I have and have worried about the storage media not holding my precious photos and data. I perform regular refreshes and change my backup DVD-RW’s every so many writes.
Scientists have found a way to store data for a billion years without any corruption.
Interesting to note that your data can be kept million years after you are dead.
