27 January 2009 1 views No Comment

Do you guys use Adobe Photoshop for your image manipulation? Come on, how many of you people actually purchased it? Spill the beans now! There is a free open source alternative to it and it is called Gimp. Yes, it is free.

In no way is Gimp as powerful as Photoshop but it has many features similar. It can do many basic image manipulations that you normally do on Photoshop.

There is another modified Gimp available called GimpShop. It is just modified version of Gimp that makes the menu and other item as best as possible, similar to Photoshop. It is the authors view to make you feel at home using Gimp

So go ahead and give it a try.
