30 November 2008 1 views No Comment

I chanced upon this interesting application for your Windows Mobile phone called MyMobileR
Basically a remote desktop to your Windows Mobile phone. Whatever you see on the phone you can see on your PC and completely interact with it.

I am a Windows mobile fan. Ever since I bought my Dopod 838 Pro, I have never gone back to any other phones. Currently I am using the HTC Touch Diamond and my review will be based on it.

Downloads for Windows here.

I think I dont have to show you how to install. Installation is straight forward. Just hit Next all through and you are done.

An icon will apprear on the task bar. CLicking on it you will the following menu.

Click on Open Mobiler and you would see your phones screen.
Note: Your phone should be plugged in the USB.
If you have a software firewall just allow it access your phone.

You should see a screen like this.

You can explore the various option here.

This app is useful if you want to get a screen capture of your the phones screen. Click Edit and Choose Save to clipboard or Save to file.

Click anything on the Screen and it will respond as though you are using the menu on the phone itself.

My take

If you using your desk and have already plugged your phone in. Just use it to answer your text messages(SMS). You can even make a call BUT you still have to pick up the phone or set it to speaker mode.

Response is a little slow but bearable.

So what are you waiting for. Try it!
